South Sudan Still Recovering from Civil unrest!
From our last trip we had a number of praise iteams:
Our May trip to South Sudan was bathed in prayer and we are incredibly grateful!
You prayed for health – in spite of many malaria carrying mosquitos & the usual need to guard against ingesting destructive bacteria – God granted us health!
You prayed for safety – through many flights – God granted us safety!
You prayed for peace – and the towns we stayed in were peaceful!

You prayed regarding the teaching – and God gave joy in that opportunity!

But there are things to pray for:

Please continue to pray for Omari, his family, and funding for his ministry.

Pray that God will continue to help us serve this new country and the church within!
Pray that God would raise up the people and resources to accomplish this task.
As well the area of Kajo Keji was under attack just after we left - so there are many new displaced people.

Thank you for praying!

Let us Pray Together

Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is as vital to the soul as is breathing to the body. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7
